Dr Gerald Yeo is a Queensland trained and qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon (BMedSci, FRACS (Ortho) & FAOrthA) with extensive surgical experience.

Dr Gerald Yeo is a Queensland trained and qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon (BMedSci, FRACS (Ortho) & FAOrthA) with extensive surgical experience.

Of Malaysian/Chinese heritage, Dr Yeo moved in the 1990’s initially to New Zealand where he completed his final year of high school before moving onto Australia where he graduated from medical school with honours from Tasmania.

Dr Yeo then went on to complete his Orthopaedic training working out of various hospitals all around Queensland in various sub specialties before deciding his final interest in lower limb surgery.

He has undergone a Fellowship subspecialising in foot & ankle surgery, where he developed a keen interest in new techniques focusing on minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopic surgery, total ankle replacements and lower limb trauma.

Dr Yeo is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.

He currently consults and operates out of the Brisbane Orthopaedic Specialist Services rooms and St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside. He also consults out at North Lakes in the Specialist Medical Center and also operates at North West Private Hospital.

In treating any disorder of the foot and ankle, his goal is to involve a multidisciplinary approach using nurses, podiatrists & physiotherapists along with an early functional rehabilitation program to get you the best outcome possible in the quickest timeframe.
