Congratulations and much respect to Sikta, a 4th year UQ Medical student who recently completed an elective with me at Prince Charles Hospital and North West Private hospital during her Orthopaedic rotation. Sikta remained motivated, enthusiastic and displayed eager knowledge to learn the intricacies and pathway to becoming an Orthopaedic Surgeon, and I was most pleased to learn about her altruistic gesture during the Covid pandemic.
